The artwork collection of Christian MKK started off from a philosophy of Nietzsche, of the idea of eternal return is a mysterious one, and how Nietzsche perplexed other philosophers with it. To think that everything recurs as we one experience it, and that the recurrence itself recurs ad infinitum.
We experience this eternal repetition, and Christian MKK has focused this philosophy in an emotional status. We experience our feelings and emotions of how we feel that we are all filled up and feel like nothing can go wrong, but soon you feel that the part that you thought was filled up was actually a big hole inside your chest that has fooled yourself once again.
We react to laughter very sensitively, as we can feel like it could be laughing ‘at’ me and laughing ‘with’ me depending on my emotional status. Emotions are a complicated one, and it makes us move back and forth to everything. But we know that what we feel is what makes us real.
